Dear younger me
I wish that you could see the life you're gonna lead
Dear younger me
Dear younger me
Just spread your wings, don't keep the ground close to your feet
Dear younger me
Bad days don't last forever
And broken hearts get better
You'll fall and fall in love again
Bad days don't last forever
Through sun and stormy weather
Promise you'll make it through the rain
Oh, it may take some time, but you'll be alright
It may take some time, my friend
When you're feeling like your world's 'bout to end
You know you can always start again
Always start again
And again and again and again
You can always start again
And again and again and again
Dear younger self
Don't have to try so hard to be somebody else
Dear younger self
Dear younger self
You look so you beautiful tonight, wish you could tell
Wish you could tell that
Bad days don't last forever
And broken hearts get better
You'll fall and fall in love again
Bad days don't last forever
Through sun and stormy weather
Promise you'll make it through the rain
Oh, it may take some time, but you'll be alright
It may take some time, my friend
When you're feeling like your world's 'bout to end
You know you can always start again
Always start again
And again and again and again
You can always start again
And again and again and again
Oh, it may take some time, but you'll be alright
It may take some time, my friend
When you're feeling like your world's 'bout to end
You know you can always start again
Always start again
