[00:16.18] Back when, I was a child
[00:21.80] Before life removed
[00:25.15] All the innocence
[00:27.75] My father, would lift me up
[00:33.55] And dance with
[00:35.35] My mother
[00:36.29] And me and then, uh
[00:39.52] Spin me around
[00:40.72] Til I fell asleep
[00:44.43] Then up the stairs
[00:46.68] He would carry me
[00:48.33] And I knew for sure
[00:52.70] I was loved
[00:55.92] If I could get
[00:58.63] Another chance
[01:01.98] Another walk
[01:04.78] Another dance with him
[01:08.25] I'd play a song
[01:10.30] That would never
[01:11.73] Ever end
[01:13.47] How I'd love, love, love
[01:16.56] To dance with
[01:18.35] My father again
[01:24.83] Ooooh
[01:32.15] When I my mother
[01:34.44] Would disagree
[01:37.10] To get my way
[01:40.16] I would run
[01:41.37] From, her to him
[01:44.11] He'd make me laugh
[01:46.38] Just to comfort me
[01:49.05] Then finally
[01:51.21] Make me do
[01:53.73] Just what my, mama said
[01:56.01] Later that when I was asleep
[02:01.97] He left a dollar
[02:03.89] Under my sheet
[02:06.79] Never, dreamed
[02:08.49] That he
[02:09.13] Would be
[02:10.44] Gone from me
[02:13.38] If I could steal
[02:15.66] One final glance
[02:18.75] One final step
[02:21.90] One final
[02:23.29] Dance with him
[02:27.12] I'd play a song
[02:28.08] That would
[02:29.35] Never, ever end
[02:30.43] How I'd, love, love, love
[02:32.71] To dance with
[02:35.12] My father, again
[02:40.40] Sometimes, I'd listen
[02:42.47] Outside her door
[02:46.15] And I'd here
[02:48.44] How mama
[02:49.91] Would cry for him
[02:52.65] I'd pray for her
[02:54.20] Even more than me
[02:57.88] I'd, pray for her
[03:00.06] Even more than me
[03:07.48] Ooooh, ooh
[03:10.54] Ooh, ooooh
[03:18.38] I know
[03:18.92] I'm praying
[03:20.95] For much, to much
[03:23.96] But could
[03:25.11] You send back
[03:26.95] The only man
[03:29.15] She loved
[03:30.73] I know you don't
[03:32.48] Do it usually
[03:35.34] But dear Lord
[03:37.19] She's dyin
[03:39.52] To dance
[03:40.34] With my father
[03:41.48] Again
[03:48.75] Every night
[03:49.63] I fall asleep
[03:51.03] And this is all
[03:53.58] I ever dream
[04:04.95]
