Rednex are a Swedish musical group whose style is a mix of country music and eurodance, with their appearance and stage names taking inspiration from American redneck stereotypes. The band has gone through multiple lineup changes throughout its existence and none of the original members remain in the band. The name "Rednex" was chosen as a deliberate misspelling of the word "rednecks".
