[00:04.29] That's it
[00:08.13] That's it
[00:11.66] That's it
[00:15.45] That's it
[00:19.08] That's it
[00:22.83] That's it
[00:26.42] That's it
[00:30.25] That's it
[00:33.80] That's it, turn the page on the day, walk away
[00:37.38] 'Cause there's sense in what I say, I'm 45th generation Roman
[00:41.47] But I don't know 'em or care when I'm spitting
[00:43.52] So return to your sitting position and listen, it's fitting
[00:46.63] That I'm miles ahead and they chase me
[00:48.32] Show your face on TV, then we'll see, you can't do half
[00:52.11] My crew laughs at your rhubarb-and-custard verses
[00:54.60] You rain down curses, but I'm waving your hearses driving by
[00:57.92] Streets riding high with the beats in the sky
[01:00.63] All stare, eyes glazed, garage burnt down
[01:03.27] The fire raged for 40 days and in 40 ways
[01:07.06] But through the blaze, they see it fade
[01:09.13] The sea of black, the beaming heat on their faces
[01:11.92] Then a figure emerges from the wastage
[01:13.68] Eyes transfixed with a piercing gaze
[01:16.30] One hand clutching his sword, raised to the sky
[01:19.00] They wonder how, they wonder why
[01:20.73] The sky turns white, it all becomes clear
[01:23.47] They felt lifted from their fears
[01:25.67] They shed tears in the light after six dark years
[01:28.50] Young bold soldiers, the fire burns, cracks, and smoulders
[01:32.22] Five years older and wiser
[01:33.89] The fires are burning, on fire, never tire
[01:36.28] Slay warriors in the forests and on higher, we sing
[01:39.76] Hear the strings rising, the war's over, the bells ring
[01:42.94] Memories fading, soldiers slaying, looks like geezers raving
[01:47.13] The hazy fog over the Bullring, the lazy ways the birds sing
[01:51.14] A new baby's born every day, few men may be scorned today
[01:55.37] But look at things the other way, 'cause it may well be your final day
[01:58.56] And then the crowds roar, they slay, they all say
[02:02.49] I produced this using only my bare wit
[02:04.68] Give me a jungle or garage beat and admit defeat
[02:07.64] Use war and past injury as my metaphor and simile
[02:10.77] Get all applications in to me before the deadline
[02:13.50] 'Cause it's a fine line between strifeful crimes and a life of crime
[02:17.48] But you will reach the day
[02:19.08] And it's all mine, you can take it or leave it
[02:21.51] I shake and reveal stage tricks like Jimi Hendrix
[02:24.68] In the afterlife, gladiators meet their maker
[02:27.50] Float through the wheat fields and lakes of blue water
[02:30.35] To the next life from the fortress
[02:32.34] Away from the knives and slaughter
[02:34.26] To their wives and daughters
[02:35.97] Once more before the Lord judges over all of us
[02:39.28] It's in this place you'll see me
[02:41.74] Brace yourself 'cause this goes deep
[02:44.25]
[03:01.67] That's it, turn the page on the day, walk away
[03:05.38] 'Cause there's sense in what I say, I'm 45th generation Roman
[03:08.88] But I don't know 'em or care when I'm spitting
[03:10.94] So return to your sitting position and listen, it's fitting
[03:14.13] That I'm miles ahead and they chase me
[03:15.98] Show your face on TV, then we'll see, you can't do half
[03:19.26] My crew laughs at your rhubarb-and-custard verses
[03:22.02] You rain down curses, but I'm waving your hearses driving by
[03:25.68] Streets riding high with the beats in the sky
[03:28.33] All stare, eyes glazed, garage burnt down
[03:31.17] The fire raged for 40 days and in 40 ways
[03:34.60] But through the blaze, they see it fade
[03:36.67] The sea of black, the beaming heat on their faces
[03:39.14] Then a figure emerges from the wastage
[03:41.37] Eyes transfixed with a piercing gaze
[03:43.86] One hand clutching his sword, raised to the sky
[03:46.72] They wonder how, they wonder why
[03:49.60] That's it
[03:57.04] That's it
[04:00.62] That's it
[04:04.48] That's it
[04:08.03] That's it
[04:11.64] That's it
[04:15.34] That's it
[04:16.73]
