Chase & Status brought Reading 2026 to a close with a star-studded headline set – check out footage below.

The UK production duo were the final act on the festival’s main stage – now known as The Grid – at Little John’s Farm last night (August 30), following on from co-headliner Florence + The Machine.

They were joined by ArrDee for ‘Liquor & Cigarettes’, NADIAH for ‘Count On Me’, D Double E for ‘Levels’ and Novelist for ‘NRG’ in the first half of their set, which took place against a torrential downpour for the Reading crowd.

IRAH contributed vocals during a mash-up of the duo’s remixes of Britney Spears‘ ‘Toxic’ and Shy FX and UK Apache’s ‘Original Nuttah’, while Flowdan came out for ‘Baddadan’ and Takura joined for ‘No Problem’.

Tom Grennan made an appearance on ‘All Goes Wrong’, Clementine Douglas was there for ‘Mixed Emotions’, Debbie sang on ‘Gone Too Far’, and Liam Bailey came out for the band’s classic single ‘Blind Faith’.

“If you’ve been with us since the beginning…old and new fans, we appreciate the fuck out of you. Reading, make some fucking noise for yourselves,” the duo said as the show came to an end.

UK viewers can watch the full set here.

Earlier this month, the duo joined Skrillex during his own headline set at Boomtown for a surprise B2B performance. They played an unreleased track with Brazilian vocals, with many fans speculating that it points to an upcoming collaboration between the two.

They also performed at Romania’s Electric Castle festival in July, where their rendition of ‘Baddadan’ sparked “pandemonium among hordes of skanking teens”.

The duo are currently preparing to release their eighth studio album, ‘Generic Everything’, on October 9. The record includes Reading setlist tracks ‘Disgruntled’, ‘Levels’, ‘Gone Too Far’ and ‘Carnage’.
