Fontaines D.C. have announced an intimate gig at London’s Roundhouse taking place next week, which will raise money for mental health charity CALM.

Set to take place on Thursday (October 15), the new gig comes on the eve of the Dublin rock giants releasing their fifth studio album, ‘Dopamine Chamber’.
For the gig, frontman Grian Chatten and co have launched a new partnership with CALM, the UK’s suicide prevention charity, and all net proceeds from the night will be donated to the organisation.
The tickets for the Roundhouse gig will be available via a ballot, and successful registrants will be chosen at random and given a code to buy tickets, which go on sale at 12pm BST on Monday (October 12).
You can register for the ballot here by 3pm tomorrow (Saturday October 10) to be in with a chance of nabbing tickets.
The latest partnership with the charity comes as Fontaines D.C. also joined forces with CALM back in June last year to launch a Lifelines music merch line.
They were one of multiple artists to get involved in the initiative – joining Blossoms, Inhaler, Tom Walker and more – and their design included the lyric “It’s amazing to be young“, taken from their song of the same name. The limited-edition design was priced at £30, with all profits funding CALM’s life-saving services.
Speaking about the latest collaboration, Simon Gunning, CEO of CALM shared: “Music is one of our most powerful tools in suicide prevention, and the shared experience of a live gig can be the reason someone chooses to Stay.
“What started with the incredible success of our Lifelines t-shirt collaboration has now become a unique shared experience for fans, and the money raised will undoubtedly save lives. We are unbelievably grateful to Fontaines D.C. for their continued support.”
The gig is a stark contrast to the huge shows the band have been used to playing in recent years. Next summer, for instance, they will play some massive gigs in the UK and Ireland, including two nights at Slane Castle and a double-header at Manchester’s Heaton Park. Support on the UK stops comes from Little Simz and Viagra Boys, with Hayley Williams opening in Ireland.
The outdoor run follows their 2026 UK and European arena tour this autumn, off the back of this summer’s Reading & Leeds headline slots. Find any remaining tickets for those shows here.
They recently announced new concerts in Italy and Germany as part of their 2027 trek, as well as dates in Japan, Australia and New Zealand.
‘Dopamine Chamber’ is set to drop next Friday (October 16), and expected to see the band move deeper into “darker and more synthetic sounds”, searching for pleasure amid peril “in a world tipping towards collapse” from threats in digital and artificial worlds, as they said in a statement.
“The album itself is a dopamine chamber,” explained Chatten. “You step inside and we test these different mind or mood-altering pieces of music on you.”
The follow-up to 2024’s acclaimed and Mercury-nominated ‘Romance’ comes after Fontaines’ recent contributions to the Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man soundtrack and the War Child ‘Help(2)’ album. Already it has been previewed by lead single ‘Marianne’ and new single ‘Tongue’.
The latter was debuted at a recent show in Brooklyn, New York, and the band have also been playing as-yet-unreleased songs ‘Six Shot Morning’ and ‘Happy For You’ at recent gigs including the latter at Leeds Festival.
The full tracklist for the forthcoming ‘Dopamine Chamber’ was shared last month, and it includes a collaboration with Rosalía on ‘Where Is Gone?’.
