Primus have shared details of a UK and European tour taking place later this year.
Les Claypool and co. announced the dates on their social media pages last night (Tuesday February 24), confirming that they will be returning to the UK and Europe for a handful of headline shows and festival dates in the summer.
Dates kick off on July 31 at Circolo Magnolia near Milan, Italy, and continue with stops in Slovenia, Poland, Czechia, Belgium, Germany and more the following month.
After stops in France and The Netherlands, Primus will wrap up the tour with four UK stops. These include headline stops at Manchester’s Academy, Glasgow’s Barrowland Ballroom, and London’s O2 Forum Kentish Town on August 17, 18 and 19 respectively, before wrapping things up with a slot at ArcTanGent Festival in Bristol two nights later (21).
As shared in the update, the headline slots for the tour will be billed as ‘An Evening With’, and tickets will go on sale this Friday (February 27) at 10am. Visit here for tickets to UK dates and here for international dates.

The tour will come following Claypool’s own ‘Claypool Gold’ tour, which will see him play across 25 US cities this summer with his three bands: Primus, The Claypool Lennon Delirium and Les Claypool’s Fearless Flying Frog Brigade.
The tour will see all three groups share the stage, and break out different sets each night, along with various surprises along the way.
New live dates also come following Primus sharing the “complete shock” departure of their longtime drummer Tim Alexander in 2024, and holding auditions for a replacement.
They eventually went with John Hoffman, a drummer from Shreveport, Louisiana who has a significant following on YouTube, was announced last year.
He made his debut with the band during the ‘Sessanta’ tour last year, which saw Primus join Puscifer and A Perfect Circle again in a three-way-co-headline run of tour dates, celebrating the 60th birthday of Maynard James Keenan.
