Zimmer90 performed a brand-new, unreleased song at Sziget Festival last night (August 15). Check out the videos below.

The German dream-pop band – comprised of singer and keyboard player Josch Becker, guitarist/bassist Finn Gronemeyer and drummer Michael Schoet – performed on the Revolut Stage during the closing night of the five-day Budapest festival.

Early in the group’s first-ever show in Hungary, Becker exclaimed: “This is so crazy for us. There are so many people here. Enjoy the last day of your festival.”

At the end of a feel-good set, Becker announced: “We’re gonna do a new song. It’s not out yet!”

He added: “We’re going on tour in three months through Europe. We hope to see some of you in the crowd again. Let’s sing together one last time. I’m going to sing it for you, OK?

Becker didn’t share the name of the new song, which features cascading synths and a thumping kick-drum, though he did lead the crowd in a call-and-response exchange of its key lyric: “I can’t stop / I won’t stop.”

The first half of Zimmer90’s late evening Sziget show leant into the hazier, dreamier side of their output, including runs through ‘Movin’’ and ‘Makes Me Wanna Dance’.

As dusk fell, the set shifted in tone, with the likes of ‘What Love Is’ emphasising the more dancefloor-oriented aspect of the group’s sound. As the show’s second half unfolded, Becker joked: “If you want a circle [pit], do it now.” Before introducing the new song, they played Daft Punk’s ‘One More Time’ to a raucous response.

Zimmer90 appeared on the ‘Bose x NME: C25’ mixtape, to which they contributed the sun-kissed track ‘what a life’. At the time, Gronemeyer told NMEof the band’s creative process: “We went step-by-step and crafted the precise sound that we have right now, but we never feel like it’s finished. Even when we finish a track, it’s just one more puzzle piece to create the bigger picture. There’s so much between the two of us that we haven’t discovered yet, creatively.”

The closing fifth day of the festival also featured performances from Jorja Smith, Soulwax, Sub Focus and Skrillex, whose headline set preceded a celebratory fireworks display.

Across the whole five days, Sziget Festival 2026 has seen performances from artists including Sombr, Twenty One Pilots, Ashnikko, Biffy Clyro, Dijon, Kim Dracula, Lewis Capaldi, Wolf Alice, Nia Archives, TOMORA, Skepta, Rose Gray, PERTURBATOR, Peggy Gou and more.
