The soundtrack to The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion is getting a vinyl release.

A prequel to the beloved fantasy role-playing gameSkyrim, The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion was originally released in 2006 and went on to sell more than 9million copies worldwide. The celebrated open-world game saw players take to the fictional province of Cyrodii and stop a fanatical cult known as the Mythic Dawn from opening gates to the demonic realm of Oblivion.

Last year, Bethesda surprise-released a completely remastered version of the game which “modernised” things including “all new stunning visuals and refined gameplay.“

Now Jeremy Soule’s soundtrack is getting a vinyl release, courtesy of Laced Audio. The 2LP collection features the full 23-song soundtrack specially mastered for vinyl and pressed onto ‘Oblivion Gate’ orange heavyweight discs.

The sleeve artwork comes courtesy of Bethesda Games and  “emphasises the iconic Daedric rune of ‘Oht’, and features several concept pieces,” according to a press release “Rich with adventure and timeless fantasy, the soundtrack of Oblivion accompanies every step of the player’s journey through Cyrodiil. Majestic orchestral themes sit alongside peaceful ambient compositions; pieces that are by turns heroic, mysterious, and soothing. Whether exploring rolling countryside, ancient ruins, or bustling cities, the score remains one of gaming’s most beloved in the fantasy genre.”

You can pre-order the The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion vinyl now ahead of a March 2027 release.

Earlier this year an orchestral remix album featuring songs from acrossThe Elder Scrolls series was released. “From the frozen plains of The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim to the mystical landscapes of The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion, each track captures the epic scale and emotional depth of the original compositions. The iconic themes take on a new dimension thanks to rich orchestration, showcasing majestic choirs, enchanting strings, and heroic brass.”
