The team behind Kpop Demon Hunters have confirmed an immersive gaming experience is set to launch early next year.

The Netflix hit is set to take over a number of Immersive Gamebox locations in the US from January 2027.

“Don’t just watch. Play,” reads the announcement post with fans invited to “step into a 60 minute KPop Demon Hunters experience where the demons are real and the songs are the weapon.”

Teams of between two and six players can take part in the event, which challenges participants to help HUNTR/X and restore the Honmoon. “Build your iconic avatar, step into Seoul and team up to help HUNTR/X take on immersive adventures inspired by the film. And yes, don’t worry. Derpy will be there too,” continues a press release.

Players will “move, react, and work together through a series of interactive games featuring 3D motion tracking, projection mapping, touch-sensitive walls and spatial audio.”

Tickets for the interactive Kpop Demon Hunters experience will be available later this year but fans can join a waitlist now to gain early access to the sale.

“KPop Demon Hunters perfectly captures what we do best: transforming the world’s most exciting stories into shared experiences that friends and families can play together,” Immersive Gamebox’s CEO Lisa Paton said in a statement (via IGN). “Music, movement, and the collective energy of the fans are such a huge part of this film, and we can’t wait for fans to join the action and become part of the story.”

Since it launched on Netflix in June 2025, KPop Demon Hunters has been streamed more than 325million times, and has been screened in cinemas around the world. A sequel was confirmed in November but no release date has been announced – though it’s unlikely to be ready before 2030.

Earlier this month, Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos said the sequel will definitely be released in cinemas as well as on the streamer.
