'Star's Revenge II', an "intensely loud record for quiet people", arrives later this month The post Geese’s Emily Green and Sunflower Bean’s Olive Faber return as Star’s Revenge with new album and breezy single ‘Don’t Worry Dynamite’ appeared first on NME.

Geese‘s Emily Green and Sunflower Bean‘s Olive Faber have returned as Star’s Revenge – check out the single ‘Don’t Worry Dynamite’ below, along with details of their upcoming album.

The New York band features both Green and Faber on guitar and vocals, alongside  drummer Christian Billard (Turnip King) and bassist Jonny Ceballos (Outremont, So Long Goodnight, The Paranoyds).

Their second full-length record, ‘Star’s Revenge II’, is due for release on Friday November 27, following on from their 2022 self-titled debut. Pre-order/pre-save here.

The group have previewed the 11-track LP with a breezy, carefree lead single, ‘Don’t Worry Dynamite’, featuring Faber on lead vocals. She offers reassurance to a loved one on the sub-three-minute cut, singing: “I just need to hold you tight, ’til I see that smile so bright/It’ll be alright.”

Over jangly guitar work, Faber adds: “We can out and f*** around […]/ Don’t worry, dynamite.” The song is accompanied by a sweet DIY video set in the woods, co-directed by Faber and Arielle Herman.

Other song titles on ‘Star’s Revenge II’ include ‘Clean’, ‘Teenage Daydream’, ‘Oh God’, ‘Last Cigarette’ and ‘Something Missing’.

According to a press release, the album “picks up right where the story left off” for the band on their first LP. “You are dropped into Star’s dreamlike world and taken on a trip through love, addiction and friendship,” it adds.

The collection is described as “an intensely loud record for quiet people”, recorded live to tape at drummer Billard’s home studio in Long Island.

“‘Star’s Revenge II’ is packed full of empathy, catchy guitar riffs, and earworm choruses you and your friends will be humming for days,” it goes on. “The band is excited to get this record out into the world, while the leaves are turning orange and yellow and the cool air is washing everyone ‘Clean’.”

The full tracklist for ‘Star’s Revenge II’ is:

‘Clean’
‘Don’t Worry Dynamite’
‘Teenage Daydream’
‘Sorry’
‘Fine Line’
‘Oh God’
‘USA’
‘Sea Shanty’
‘Last Cigarette’
‘Look At You’
‘Something Missing’

Earlier this year, Geese frontman Cameron Winter confirmed he was working on a new solo project, and later debuted some material at a surprise secret set in New Orleans. Geese’s acclaimed third album, ‘Getting Killed’, arrived last year, and became NME‘s Number One record of 2025.

They made appearances at Reading & Leeds and Electric Picnic, and topped the bill at End Of The Road in 2026. NME gave Geese’s set at Reading a four-star review, writing: “This isn’t quite as incendiary a show as Geese’s last UK date at the Eventim Apollo back in March, though it has its own punch-drunk charm, with the band sounding more settled into the material. After all, as the kids going nuts in the circle pit prove, they’re preaching to the converted.”
